Job Description

:

Software Quality Assurance interns (Internship Period: 4-6 months) will learn on software testing on different phases of our project cycle including execution, maintenance as well as reporting of the test results to achieve high quality.

He/She will be familiarized with the end-to-end software testing process and the ability to develop testing plans, and continuously improve software products and applications, while also adhering to defined timelines.

Responsibilities:

(1) Develop and Execute testing plans

• Convert the requirements and design documents into a set of testing cases.
• Involved in hands-on tests and executing testing plans.
• Continuous execution of tests and providing the results.
• Moderate to a high-level understanding of how mobile apps and websites work and tests, understanding of API and relational databases.
• Understanding of SDLC and the role of a QA.
• Assist and let the team lead know of any improvements or inconsistencies.
• Execute test cases, set appropriate test case statuses and report progress.
• Report defects comprehensively.

(2) Report and Review

• Analyses software test results and recommends a course of action, if necessary, to ensure that performance standards demanded by the organization are maintained.
• Define and distribute a series of daily status reports / progressive reports for the test result to the test lead.
• Use of management tools (ALM QC, JIRA, test management tools) to manage, execute and collect test results.
• Assist the team lead in all the tasks being performed.

Requirements:

• Candidate is undergoing at least a Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent, CGPA: 3.0 and above.
• Interested in designing the test approach of multiple products.
• Positive working attitude and ability to work independently in a team environment.
• Experience in Mobile Applications, Web apps, Micro Focus ALM, LoadRunner, UFT, Appium, and Katalon will be added advantages.
• Good communication in English and additional language is an added advantage.
• Working Location: Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur. Working in office: 5 days
• Internship Allowance: Yes
• Internship Duration: 4-6 months. Able to start in Apr 2023 will be our priority.
