Job Summary:
The Inventory Auditor / Stock Checker is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of all branch inventories. This role involves conducting regular inventory audits, inspecting returned goods, analyzing stock trends, occasional delivery support during branch visits, and reporting discrepancies directly to the Managing Director. The position requires a highly detail-oriented, independent, and ethical professional.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct weekly and monthly inventory audits at all branches.
Perform unannounced spot checks to verify inventory accuracy.
Focus on high-risk items, such as small electronic accessories (charging cables, chargers, earphones, etc.).
Return Goods Inspection
Inspect returned items for completeness and adherence to company return policies.
Ensure returned products are undamaged and properly recorded.
Inventory Analysis & Recommendations
Track stock movements: identify fast-selling, slow-selling, and non-moving items.
Provide recommendations for replenishment, discontinuation, or adjustments.
Highlight missing, damaged, or overstocked items for management.
Asset & Compliance Monitoring
Check product labels, seals, and packaging integrity.
Monitor inventory processes to prevent manipulation, fraud, or concealment of discrepancies.
Immediately report any suspicious activity or anomalies to the Managing Director.
Order & Delivery Support (Occasional)
Assist with branch deliveries during audit visits as needed.
Ensure items are delivered accurately and securely.
Reporting
Submit weekly and monthly audit reports to the Managing Director.
Include discrepancies, damaged items, and any unusual stock movement in reports.
Qualifications:
Minimum education: Certificate / Diploma
Valid car driver's license and reliable personal transportation
Experience in auditing, inventory control, or retail operations preferred
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
Strong ethical standards; trustworthy and professional
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems
Skills & Competencies:
Strong analytical and observational skills
Ability to prepare clear, accurate, and concise reports
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Responsible for maintaining the integrity of company inventory
Able to handle occasional delivery and travel between branches
Work Conditions:
Frequent travel between branches
Minimal staff interaction; no customer interaction required
Reports directly to the Managing Director
Must maintain confidentiality and impartiality
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
