Inventory Control Officer (mandarin Speaker)

Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Responsible for preparing the purchase orders, receiving, storing, issuing the goods, managing the stock levels and giving out the suppliers from the stock -Receiving inventory from supplier and ensure both quality and quantity -Preparing the inventories, maintaining the stock records, using computerized systems for entering the records and is accountable for checking the supply invoices with the purchase orders. -To be involved in reconciliation of physical stock with the stock in the system. -To undertake the function of stock taking and confirm the periodic stock on a regular basis by working closely with the designated staff members -Finds out sources of supply and is responsible for obtaining quotes from the suppliers as well. -Makes sure to get rid of the surplus or obsolete stock. -Prepare QC list. -Prepare sample of new catalogues, sample of new items for salesman and sample of new value pack product. -To be in charge of monitoring non-traded (office use) items movement, choosing the best suppliers, prepare purchase order, follow up delivery status and prepare purchase invoice. -Make sure the good quality of inventory (Quality Checking) and have a quick response when a problem occur upon goods receiving. -Constantly monitor inventory levels to reduce stock outs, slow-moving and obsolete items -Ensure the level of goods is sufficient for supplying to customers. -Prepare forecast list of products. -Involve in checking the details of final design before sending to suppliers. -Build and maintain good relationships with vendors -Responsible for handling outsource and inhouse packer to ensure orders complete within the time given and with the best quality. -Responsible for preparing payment invoice for outsource. -Prepare Stock Issue and Stock Receive for retail packing. -Prepare all packing materials (packet barcode, inner barcode, sticker) -Track goods delivery schedule and keep records up-to-date on a day-to-day basis -Close liaison with domestic supplier / business partners for product material and quality control. -Assist in the preparation of other processes as and when assigned/required by the Supervisor. -Ad-hoc Task Qualifications and Education Requirements -Education : Candidate must possess a least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Others or equivalent. -Experience : At least 1 - 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. -Fresh graduate are encourage to apply. -Good computer skills -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite PREFERRED SKILLS -Able to communicate fluently in Bahasa Malaysia and English -Ability to speaking in Mandarin is a huge advantage -Excellent oral and written communication skills -Excellent data organizing skill, specifically in excel -Detail oriented, sensitive towards figure and numbers -Self-discipline and self-motivated -Ability to enjoy clerical and administrative work with good planning and numeral skills -Negotiation skills
