Job Description

• This role is reporting to Material Planning Manager.
• This role is responsible for ensuring stock accuracy and to ensure variance between physical inventory vs system updates and accurate reporting for accounting.

• Lead, train and provide guidance to all involved stock movement to avoid overstock and out-of-stock situations.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock level, reconcile any variances and resolve inventory problems on a timelt basis.
• Monitor stock transfers, ensuring timely and accurate updating in system.
• Implement and enforce inventory control measures, such as proper labelling, tagging and categorization, to enhance stock accuracy and minimize errors.
• Colloborate with cross-functional teams, mainly finance, manufacturing, procurement, ICT, to streamline and improve inventory management processes to minimize risk of inaccuracy.
• Analyse inventory data and trends to identify stock variance, abnormalities, opportunities for optimization, cost reduction and process improvement.
• Generate comprehensive reports on inventory performance, including key metrics, KPIs and areas for improvement.
• Keep updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in inventory management and lead the implementation of innovate solutions.
• To perform any other ad hoc tasks.
• Internal stakeholder : Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Finance, ICT, Procurement
• External stakeholders: External auditors, local vendors, 3PL

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or any other related studies.
• Min 2-4 years in leading or supervising stock take and variance analysis exercises.
• Solid experience in inventory management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proficient in understanding inventory management in SAP, using in MS Excel
• Knowledge in Power BI is an added advantage.
• Able to work independently and under pressure with minimum supervision.
