Inventory Specialist

Reports To

Head of Inventory Pricing

Role Purpose

Deliver and implement MAB revenue plan and inventory strategies for designated area through rigorous, constant, and forensic evaluation and analysis of demand and competitive positioning to implement optimal inventory settings on each flight departure

Key Accountability

• Deliver the passenger revenue budget for designated responsibilities through execution of successful strategies and contribute positively to RMD strategy formulation
• Achieve all inventory KPIs through effective management of inventory settings in accordance with market demand, inventory strategy and system recommendations
• Ensure accurate demand forecasts, data accuracy and RM system parameters for generation of optimal system inventory setting recommendations
• Analyze historical performance and take corrective inventory actions to ensure revenue maximization
• Contribute positively to maximization of network revenue through considered inventory settings on own area of responsibility

• Degree in Numerical disciplines (e.g Economics and/or Business degree with 1-2 years of working experience in related commercial /analytics experience

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to interpret large and complex volumes of data to identify trends and solutions
• Creative problem solving and commercial acumen
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Commercial aviation background and collaborative team player at peer level

• Ability to use complex PROS OD optimization tools
• Responsible for delivery of significant revenue generation and meeting challenging targets
• To respond timely to requests made by stations
