Job Description


High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

- Proven experience in inventory management or stock administration role.

- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.- Knowledge of inventory management systems and software.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.

- Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics.

- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to inventory control.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Fluency in both verbal and written Mandarin is required, as this role involves liaising with Mandarin-speaking management.

Responsibilities

1.Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts, reconciling variances, and updating records accordingly. Ensure stock levels are sufficient to meet customer demands while avoiding excess inventory.

2.Stock Replenishment: Coordinate with purchasing or procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock based on inventory levels and anticipated demand. Place orders for new stock and track deliveries to ensure timely availability.

3.Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and potential issues. Generate reports on stock levels, slow-moving items, stock turnover, and other key metrics. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize inventory management processes.

4.Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock transactions, including receipts, transfers, and adjustments. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.

5.Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, logistics, and finance, to gather information and coordinate activities related to inventory management. Communicate effectively to address stock-related issues, resolve discrepancies, and optimize stock flow.

6.Inventory Audits: Conduct periodic audits to verify the accuracy of stock records and identify any discrepancies. Implement corrective actions and process improvements as needed to maintain data integrity and minimize inventory discrepancies.

7.System Management: Utilize inventory management software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to record and track stock movements, update stock levels, generate reports, and perform other inventory-related tasks. Ensure data accuracy and system integrity.

8.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance inventory management efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive improvements in inventory control processes.
