Job Description

We are recruiting outstanding individuals with energy and drive to join our Investment Management Team. This is for a regional role based in Kuala Lumpur. Responsibilities: You will support members of the investment team to: Identify and assess investment opportunities in the ASEAN region; Conduct comprehensive due diligence (including financial, commercial and operational); Conduct macro-economic analysis and secondary research; Prepare financial models and formal investment recommendations; Manage legal documentation and deal execution; Conduct post investment management and reporting; Evaluate investees\' performance; Work with investees on value creation initiatives; and Work on investment exits and realisations. To excel in this role, the applicant should possess the following: 4-10 years relevant experience in related finance areas or candidates from private equity and institutional investment field are preferred. We are also open to engineers with finance skill set and experience; Fundamental understanding of finance, economics, markets, financial analysis, accounting, and valuation concepts. Some basic understanding of contract and/or corporate law would be an advantage; Resourceful with strong ability to conduct in-depth research and analysis; Excellent financial modelling skills are a pre-requisite; Strong Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Word skills; Excellent tertiary qualifications; CFA is a plus; Excellent project management skills with a solutions-oriented mindset and critical eye for detail; Ability to handle multiple live projects and multi-task to support a track record of delivering in a fast-paced environment; and Ability to interact and work in a cohesive team-based environment.
