This role requires to work onsite everyday at our Malaysia office based in Sunway Lagoon, Subang Jaya, Selangor.

Job description:

Working in 3rd line team providing support to the Service Desk in following areas: Warehouse support, Retail support and Infrastructure support. Successful candidate will be assigned to support one of those areas with option to support different area in the future. Area assignment will depend on candidates experience and knowledge.

Successful candidate will be working with Service Desk Team Leaders ensuring that problems escalated to 3rd Line are being dealt with by providing fixes\\resolutions and documentation for the Service Desk.

Escalating to development\ etwork\\infrastructure teams where necessary, performing trend analysis feeding to Problem Management.

Providing Incident Management updates and reviewing incoming alerts.

Working with the 3rd Line Support Manager and Delivery Managers to create and maintain a Service Improvement Plan that will enhance user experience.

Due to scope the 3rd Line Support operates, successful candidate will be provided with numerous training opportunities to successfully support assigned area, so ideal candidate will be self-motivated and wanting to learn.

Warehouse Support:

Supporting our warehouses worldwide making sure any issues raised are being dealt with in timely manner, troubleshooting and documenting issues with our web order system, automation systems, and warehouse related applications.

As part of the role, successful candidate will be the final point of escalation from the service desk to hand over problems to the developers, ensuring that the correct information has been passed over to ensure a resolution can be implicated quickly. Not only that, but you will be creating documentation from developer notes which then can be passed down to the service desk to assist them in resolving the issues when they are contacted by the warehouse.

Qualifications

Qualification:

• At least 2 years\' experience in 1st or 2nd line IT Support environment
• Experience with querying SQL databases essential (T-SQL or PL/SQL desired)
• Experience working with MS SQL or Oracle databases desired
• Previous experience with supporting warehouse operations will be an advantage
• Effective communicator and highly organized
• Self-motivated and proactive
