This role requires to work onsite everyday at our Malaysia office based in Sunway Lagoon, Subang Jaya, Selangor.

:

Working in 3rd line team providing support to the Service Desk in following areas: Warehouse support, Retail support and Infrastructure support. Successful candidate will be assigned to support one of those areas with option to support different area in the future. Area assignment will depend on candidates experience and knowledge.

Successful candidate will be working with Service Desk Team Leaders ensuring that problems escalated to 3rd Line are being dealt with by providing fixes\\resolutions and documentation for the Service Desk.

Escalating to development\ etwork\\infrastructure teams where necessary, performing trend analysis feeding to Problem Management.

Providing Incident Management updates and reviewing incoming alerts.

Working with the 3rd Line Support Manager and Delivery Managers to create and maintain a Service Improvement Plan that will enhance user experience.

Due to scope the 3rd Line Support operates, successful candidate will be provided with numerous training opportunities to successfully support assigned area, so ideal candidate will be self-motivated and wanting to learn.

Retail Support:

• Troubleshooting POS systems across entire estate including promotions and discounts issues, item scanning issues, voucher\\giftcard issues, click and collect issues, transaction processing system issues.
• Troubleshooting range of applications used within retail side of the business including stocktaking, branch rota, cashing up, store handheld applications.
• Preparing troubleshooting documentation and fixes for issues raised by service desk team, raising issues to retail development team. Preparing troubleshooting documentation for new retail software releases.
• Work within retail silo is heavily based on data and applications so ideal candidate should have more of developer\\analytic mindset. To succeed in the role, ideal applicant needs to be interested in learning programming languages, being comfortable working with relational databases, being able to produce reports using SSRS, as well as be willing to learn new technologies when they are being introduced within the business.

Qualifications

Qualification:

• At least 2 years\' experience in 1st or 2nd line IT Support environment
• Experience with querying SQL databases essential (T-SQL or PL/SQL desired)
• Experience working with MS SQL or Oracle databases desired
• Knowledge of PowerShell desired but not essential
• Knowledge of C# desired but not essential
• Experience working with SSRS desired but not essential
• Previous experience working with POS systems will be an advantage
• Effective communicator and highly organized
• Self-motivated and proactive
