Job Description

(JD) To provide support for RSME project and assist in other BAU support if required. To thoroughly understand the system design and provide impact analysis feedback for any potential system change including design of End-of-day process. To perform problem investigation \xe2\x80\x93 problem identification, root cause analysis, solution definition, development and implementation. Interact with internal teams and external 3rd party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve problems. Responsible in providing solutions to cater for enhancement or new requirement from users. To proactively manage system risks by defining improvements or mitigations. Coordinating system implementation and troubleshooting of system issues in UAT. Provide input to application/infrastructure scalability. Maintain application monitoring, performance tuning and testing Provide input to administering and maintaining all application environments Provide input to the implementation, backup and roll-back plans Act as a technical resource for internal and external projects Follow appropriate departmental and bank procedures and policies (i.e. change control, security and auditing, release, configuration, problem and incident management). Maintain good working relationships with internal departments as well as 3rd party vendors and hosting providers Key Skills / Knowledge and Behaviors Personal Qualities Strong customer service and support focus with a desire to deliver a high quality service Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and to tight deadlines Excellent in application development, testing and troubleshooting skills Technical Skills & Experiences Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in computer science / Information Technology, in any related fields. Minimum 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in application development / Programming, software design, systems support and application database management Experience with supporting multi-tier infrastructures Experience with supporting multiple integrations system (batch & online) Possess strong technical knowledge in Linux IBM DB2 SQL PHP (Previous programming experience would be an added advantage) Shell scripting Javascript Web application SOAP, REST, XML integration Experience in Problem and Incident Management Good interpersonal and communication skills Good in analyzing user needs Good in Analytical Thinking Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills. Knowledge and experience in the Loan Origination domain would be an added advantage. Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
