Overview:

The IT Application Support (for Credit Card System) is responsible for software applications maintenance, development, implementation and support for Credit Card system (ASCCEND), where part of responsibilities, the jobholder will 1) participate in user requirement & feasibility study, evaluation and provide technical specification, 2) develop technical solution, conducting and support user acceptance tests & production roll out activities, and 3) provide daily production system support and attend to business users requests. This role reports to the Team Lead of the IT Applications Support for Credit Card System. Other details on job responsibilities are as follows:

Functional Responsibilities:

Responsible for systems study, applications design and development for Credit Card system and all the related interfaces with downstream systems

Participates in user group meeting and provides information to facilitate users requirements gathering and decision making for business solution proposal.

Ensures amended and enhanced systems meet user functional requirement specifications.

Attend to daily business users requests and participate in activities like IT Disaster Recovery Plan, project implementation and system maintenance activities.

Ensures all documentation, processes and methodologies used in various phases of system development and implementation are in accordance with the Bank's standards & methodologies.

Ensure all internal (Audit & Risk) and external (Paynet ,MyClear, Visa/MC, PCI) compliances are fulfilled in Debit Card related applications.

Ensures appropriate controls are built into business applications to attain stability, security and reliability of technical deliverables.

Recommends production fixes and online / batch performance improvement measures.

Handles operational duties and management functions as and when required.

Jobholder Requirements

Education/Qualification

1) Malaysia citizen.

2) Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

Experience

1) Possessed at least 3 years Debit Card related experience, working on Silverlake Electronic Banking System and related interfaces (ATM & CRT) will be an added advantage

2) Working knowledge in the following programming languages :-

- AS400 Control Language Program

- AS400 related programming language and tools

3) Working experience in development and implementation of large business applications with practices of SDLC/ ASDM methodologies in a financial institution.

4) Independent worker with good communication skills

5) Those without the necessary qualification but with relevant experience will also be considered

Special Skills

Skills in IBM I-series AS400 Environment Online and Batch (CLP, RPG, WRKQRY)

Experience in ATM ,Security Device Driver (HSM), TCP/IP network drivers
