Job Purpose

IT Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing both general IT operations and managing the organization's network infrastructure. This position requires a combination of managerial skills, technical proficiency, and expertise in network management.

Duties and Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

Assist in leading and managing the IT team, providing guidance and support. Collaborate with the IT Manager to ensure the effective functioning of the IT department.

Network Management:

Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure. Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.

Project Management:

Collaborate with the IT Manager in planning and executing projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, time, and budget. Lead network-related projects, coordinating resources and activities.

Technical Support:

Provide technical support to end-users, resolving complex IT and network-related issues. Ensure timely resolution of escalated support tickets.

System Maintenance:

Oversee the maintenance of IT systems, including servers, workstations, and network components. Implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.

Vendor Management:

Manage relationships with IT and network service providers and vendors. Evaluate, select, and negotiate contracts for network-related products and services.

Job Requirements :

At least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Systems or equivalent. At least 5 years related working experience. Preferred candidate able to speak ; read and write

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
