Job Description


The IT Audit Manager conducts IT audits covering customers, business partners, employees, and business information to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and security standards. Additionally, they provide independent advisory on IT security and communicate control deficiencies and recommendations to management.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of technology internal controls to meet regulatory expectations and industry standards, including Risk Management in Technology (RMiT), Information Security, Data Security, Network Security, and Cybersecurity best practices like the NIST framework.
  • Focus on auditing security architecture and controls for optimal design and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with Finance/Operational audit teams to assist in technology risk assessment, control identification, and remediation of risks.
  • Participate actively in all audit phases (planning, fieldwork, reporting) while adhering to best audit practice standards.
  • Clearly articulate audit issues and draft findings in an objective and consistent manner.
  • Validate remediation activities to ensure effective resolution of control issues.
  • Provide advisory feedback to management to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Establish effective working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Apply thoughtful analysis and judgement to make timely decisions.
  • Foster collaboration by seeking and considering diverse opinions and promoting an open exchange of ideas.

  • Possess a university degree and relevant professional certifications such as CISM, CISA, CISSP, CREST, GPEN, or equivalent. Additional certification as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate more than 5 years of experience in IT audits, particularly within the IT security domain, ideally in sizeable or multinational financial services organizations (e.g., banks, payment gateways).
  • Exhibit technical expertise in Data Security, Cybersecurity, Security Architects & Information Security Governance, Network Security, and Business Continuity Management (BCM).
  • Showcase proficiency in Excel and Computer Assisted Audit Technique (CAAT) or analytical tools (ACL, IDEA, Tableau, Python, etc.), with experience in cloud computing being a plus.
  • Bring specific experience in Banking or Financial Services, Fintech, e-Commerce, or technology-based companies.
  • Adapt effectively to fast-paced and agile business environments.
