Information and Digital Technology specialists are vital to how we leverage and deliver global digital solutions. You\xe2\x80\x99re going to be a key part of the Information & Digital Services and Operations team for our Mobility business in the East markets; over 4000 retail sites in 7 countries.
This team delivers secure, reliable, and affordable operations to the Downstream Mobility business. As Information Technology and Digital professionals with a business lens our focus is to unlock value and support Shell\xe2\x80\x99s growth ambitions by growing our position as the largest retailer in the world.
In this role you are accountable for the Information & Digital Technology operations of all Malaysia retail sites. Working with the suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations, including support and fixes of operational issues. Malaysia is one of the most important markets in Asia for Shell and as such a key market to ensure perfect experience for our large customer base. Also fluency in Malay and English is key to ensure the work can be done effectively on the ground.
What\xe2\x80\x99s the role?
End-to end accountability for all Information and Digital Technology Operations
Supporting the IDT Manager and accountable for the operating plan, budget and operational lifecycle of services and products
Managing supplier performance and contracts
Managing transition support activities between suppliers
Reviewing the landscapes and products for enhancement and continuous improvement opportunities
Responsible for information risk management and IT Controls compliance, as well as conformance to Health and Safety policies and legal and regulatory requirements
Identifying of systemic issues in IT Landscapes, driving structural improvements while balancing costs with business value; in optimizing landscape Total Cost of Ownership
Responsible for Operational Readiness for new demand, changes and projects impacting the portfolio \xe2\x80\x93 including analyzing and understanding business functional and non-functional requirements \xe2\x80\x93 and provides sign off, with Agreement to Deploy and Agreement to Operate as key milestones
Ensure effective Major Incident (MI) management and swift service restoration (during Major Incidents) for Business-Critical landscapes
Responsible for bottom-up budgeting of IT services, mapping top-down figures to existing services, and monitors spend against budget, seek adherence to the budget as planned, assist in developing the latest estimates per quarter. Works closely with the relevant teams to ensure prompt payment of invoices
Management of contracts including developing the contract, technical evaluation, contracts performance evaluation & renewal/closure of contracts
Ensuring adequate business controls are in place across the processes used in support of the site service delivery including controlling of the contract expenditure
Role requirement
Degree in IT or equivalent with 7+ years of Corporate IT experience
Be adept in leading large natural teams including multiple third parties
Excellent oral and written presentation skills
A continuous improvement mindset to drive operations of the future
Proven customer focus and empathy
5-10 years Service Management, with transition experience
Ability to build strong collaborative partnerships with senior business stakeholders
Resilience, courage and the willingness to challenge and manage business expectations
Will be an advantage with experience in information risk management or Cyber Defenses, exposure in retail, transportation, or electric mobility sectors
Fluent in English Communication skills including writing, speaking and reading
