Job Description

Key responsibilities

Strategic planning

: Work with leadership to develop and implement comprehensive digital strategies and roadmaps that align with business objectives. This includes constantly scanning the technology landscape to identify new opportunities.

Change management

: Guide the organization through the adoption of new technologies and processes. This requires strong communication skills to get buy-in from stakeholders, address resistance, and foster a culture of innovation.

Project leadership

: Lead and oversee various digital initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on schedule. Agile and other project management methodologies are often utilized.

Technology oversight

: Evaluate, manage, and optimize the digital platforms, tools, and infrastructure that underpin the transformation. This can include cloud computing, AI, and process automation solutions.

Data analysis

: Leverage data analytics tools to monitor the performance of digital initiatives, interpret data, and provide actionable insights to guide decision-making.

Process optimization

: Identify inefficiencies in current business processes and use digital tools, such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), to streamline workflows and reduce costs.

Stakeholder collaboration

: Build strong relationships with various internal teams (IT, marketing, HR) and external partners to ensure smooth implementation and alignment.

Digital literacy

: Promote digital proficiency across the workforce by designing training programs and workshops to ensure employees can effectively use new digital tools.

Security and compliance

: Ensure all digital initiatives comply with data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.
Qualifications and skills

Education

: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.

Experience

: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in digital transformation, IT project management, or a related field is common, with senior roles requiring more.

Technical expertise

: A strong understanding of digital technologies, platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, CRM, cloud solutions), and data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau) is essential.

Leadership abilities

: Proven experience in leading and mentoring teams, with strong emotional intelligence and the ability to motivate and guide others through change.

Analytical skills

: Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical abilities to evaluate current systems and identify opportunities for improvement.

Communication skills

: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Certifications

: Certifications in project management (like PMP or Agile) or digital transformation are often considered a plus.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
