Job Description

Unlike fintech or insuredtech, merging real estate and technology (proptech) is still something that is fairly new to Malaysia market. This leadership role will enable you to lead and strategize the merging of real estate and technology and let the public witness what digital transformation looks like within the real estate and property space.

• Lead and manage the IT department to meet its objectives of ensuring availability and stability of IT systems and resources to support the business continuity.
• Design and implements new IT requirements to enhance the business effectiveness.
• Coordinating digitalisation project executions plans and approaches.
• Constantly monitoring the effectiveness of the IT systems and resources and ensuring that systems and subordinates are equipped with resources and knowledge to perform their role effectively with proper tools and training.
• Proactively enhancing the IT systems and resources with upto- date technology and approaches by means of introducing new equipment and systems by sourcing of in-house development initiatives.
• Regular meet ups and supervision of project rollouts with vendors and users to ensure that projects are timely and meeting the needs and objectives.

• Degree in Computer Science and related
• MUST come from real estate OR property development background
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior management/leadership positions, minimum 15 years of overall experience in information technology field
• Hands-on experience in project management, software development and application design knowledge, exposure towards methodology implementations etc.
• Analytical thinking, perseverance and committment
• Excellent communication in English
