Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on

IT Executive (Infrastructure)

to support and maintain the organization's IT systems, networks, and hardware. The role involves ensuring reliable IT operations, managing infrastructure assets, and assisting in project deployments at local or remote sites.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and system issues. Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and network equipment. Support IT infrastructure operations including network connectivity, VLAN setup, and basic server configuration. Perform system monitoring, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure uptime. Manage user accounts, email setups, and permissions within the company environment. Assist in IT asset management, license tracking, and procurement coordination. Liaise with vendors for maintenance, warranty, and technical support. Maintain proper documentation for IT equipment, network layouts, and procedures. Participate in project deployments and provide on-site support when required.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical support or infrastructure role. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, etc.) and familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and network monitoring tools. Familiar with operating systems such as

Windows, Linux, and macOS

(advantage).

Knowledge of healthcare IT systems (HIS/EMR)

is advantage for hospital project settings. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and lead improvements for better user satisfaction. Able to travel for site projects when required. Possess own transport and valid driving license. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
