We are looking for a reliable and hands-on IT Support Staff to support our retail outlets' daily operations. The successful candidate will handle IT-related issues at store level, ensure smooth system performance, and assist the marketing team in updating promotions through the Xilnex POS system.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to retail outlets, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Manage and maintain Xilnex POS systems, ensuring smooth transaction and data synchronization.
Coordinate with the marketing team to update and configure new promotions, pricing, and product information in Xilnex.
Perform routine system checks, updates, and backups to ensure data accuracy and system stability.
Liaise with Xilnex support or vendors for system issues that require escalation.
Set up and maintain IT equipment such as PCs, routers, printers, and barcode scanners.
Document IT processes, system configurations, and maintenance records.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 1-3 years of IT support experience, preferably in a retail environment.
Experience with Xilnex POS or similar cloud-based retail systems is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of networking, Windows systems, and database operations.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
Good communication and coordination skills to work with both retail and marketing teams.
