Job Description

Job Scope:

1. Oversee the day-to-day management, monitoring, and troubleshooting of IT systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.

2. Provide technical support to employees and ensure smooth, efficient, and secure daily operations.

3. Assist in the evaluation, negotiation, and management of IT service providers and hardware/software vendors.

4. Lead or participate in IT projects such as ERP system upgrades, system modernisation, and digital transformation initiatives--including AI-driven solutions.

5. Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to optimise the organisation's technology resources.

6. Provide support for specialised applications and systems used within the company.

7. Serve as the key driver in initiating and implementing AI transformation across daily business operations to improve productivity and operational efficiency.

8. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend continuous improvements to the IT infrastructure.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in IT management or a related field.

2. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

3. Strong understanding of programmed and project management principles.

4. Exposure to manufacturing environments; experience in the paper packaging industry is an added advantage.

5. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

6. Proficient in IT system architecture, implementation, and optimization.

7. Knowledge of relevant ICT laws, regulations, governance standards, and cybersecurity best practices.

8. Demonstrated experience with ERP systems.

9. Experience leading or participating in digital transformation projects and working with cross-functional teams.

10. Strong willingness to adopt, experiment with, and proactively explore new technologies--including AI agents, automation tools, and emerging IT solutions--to drive continuous process optimization and efficiency improvements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,800.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
