The IT Executive is responsible for the effective daily operation, maintenance, and support of the organization's information technology infrastructure and systems. This role ensures the reliability, security, and optimal performance of all IT assets, supporting business objectives and user needs.
B.
Key Responsibilities
1.
System Administration & Maintenance:
i. To perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting for servers, networks, workstations, and other IT equipment.
ii. To Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of IT services.
iii. To manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
iv. To maintain, manage and troubleshooting Hospital Information System (HIS) and SQL.
v. To Coordinate, plan and manage daily complaint of any PC/Printer/Server or PC related failure.
vi. To maintain, manage and update Stella Kasih Medical Centre website and internal portal contents.
vii. To maintain and manage company email for all staff - monthly basis.
viii. To maintain, manage and troubleshooting telephone system / PABX System.
ix. To be rresponsible for future upgrade / New HIS Implementation module (if any).

Technical Support:
i. To provide first-level and second-level technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
ii. To document IT incidents, resolutions, and common problems for knowledge base improvement.
3.
Network Management:
i. To assist in the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
ii. To ensure network security and optimize network performance.
4.
Software & Hardware Management:
i. To install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and drivers.
ii. To manage IT inventory, including procurement, deployment, and decommissioning of hardware and software.
iii. To consult and analyze any implementation of hardware/software IT related matter.
iv. To manage and renew license software that related to computer, antivirus, firewall and server.
v. To manage PACS System in Radiology Department.
5.
Security & Data Management:
i. To maintain, manage and troubleshooting all door access and security tag.
ii. To implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
iii. To perform regular data backups and ensure data recovery capabilities.
iv. To monitor for security breaches and respond to security incidents.
v. To perform monthly data posting from Hospital Information System (HIS) to SQL.
vi. To be responsible and manage all important backup solution for Server, VM, Database, NAS and File Server.
6.
Documentation & Reporting:
i. To maintain accurate IT documentation, including system configurations, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
ii. To prepare reports on IT performance, incidents, and projects as required.
iii. To collect and record all related invoices, delivery orders (DO), IT Requisition Form, company telephone bills, TV (Astro) bills for audit purposes.
7.
Project Support:
i. To coordinate, plan, implement and follow up any ongoing / upcoming project related to IT.
ii. To participate in IT projects, including system implementations, migrations, and upgrades.
iii. To collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and propose solutions.
C.
Qualifications
1.
Education:
i. Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's degree/Post Graduate Science in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
2.
Experience:
i. To have minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in IT support, system administration, or network administration.
ii. To lead implementation of IT Projects including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services.
iii. To be familiar with variety of Operating system, Office Application and Utility Software.
iv. To have the ability to analyze the root cause of problems of computers, hardware and servers.
v. To make recommendations or suggestions for improvement in terms of increasing performance or cost savings.
