Administer, troubleshoot, and install critical server and network infrastructure, including Dell PowerEdge Servers, Synology Storage, Cisco Switch, FortiGate Firewall, HyperV, and Windows Server 2025.
End-User Support:
Provide hardware and software support, including troubleshooting, repairing, and installing PCs, notebooks, printers and other IT related peripherals.
Connectivity & Communication:
Manage and maintain robust LAN / Wi-fi networks, telephone, and other connection such VPN.
Data Backup:
Perform regular backups of HyperV, AutoCount system and File Server, by ensuring it's performed regularly and the backup file able to restore.
IT Strategy & Implementation:
To assist in developing, enhance, implement, and coordinate new IT systems, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and security.
Data Security & Integrity:
Ensure the highest level of data security, network access controls, and reliable backup systems.
Application & Database Administration:
Manage business applications and databases such as AutoCount, O365 tools and apps such as Mic. Teams
Mail System Administration:
Oversee mail management platforms including cPanel, Office 365, and G-Suite.
Vendor Management:
Handle the negotiation of all IT related purchase with vendors such as purchase IT equipment, renewal license / domain / maintenance agreement and etc.
Problem Solver:
Proactively identify problematic areas, suggest or implement strategic solutions, and audit systems for optimal resolution.
IT Asset Management:
Safeguard IT assets and ensure the information of the IT asset is up-to-date in the Asset record list.
CCTV System Management:
Manage and troubleshoot CCTV system if problem arise. Ensure there is minimal downtime of the system.
REQUIREMENTS:
Certificate/diploma/Degree in IT related and up to date with IT technologies.
At least two (2) years of full-time experience in IT department.
Good command in English speaking, writing and reporting.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Meticulous and methodical nature and a logical mind.
Good interpersonal and communications skills.
Self-motivated, self-learner and able to work under pressure.
Play pro-active role in problem solving, could analyzed problem or issues and provide solution.
Enthusiasm to be continually learning.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as an IT Executive or similar role.
Have knowledge and hands-on experience with the technologies listed above (Dell PowerEdge, FortiGate, HyperV or VMWare, Windows Server, Active Directory).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for both hardware and software.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, results-oriented, and detail-oriented approach.
Willing to travel between HQ Shah Alam, PKFZ, Melaka, and Seri Kembangan if required.
Bonus
points if you have experience with CCTV systems (managing, install and troubleshooting, DVR/NVR/IP camera).
