to join our team and provide frontline IT support to CPOC (Oil & Gas client). This role will act as the
first point of contact
for IT-related issues, ensuring smooth operations across desktop, applications, network, and telecommunications services.
Key Responsibilities
Provide
1st level IT support & troubleshooting
(notebooks, desktops, printers, applications, servers, telecommunications, and networks).
Act as the
centralized contact point
for call logging, incident tracking, service requests, and escalation to business application teams or third-party vendors.
Maintain
accurate service records and documentation
.
Provide
on-site troubleshooting
for system setup, installation, configuration, and usage.
Escalate issues beyond helpdesk scope to CPOC's internal IT Department or outsourced vendors.
Update and monitor incidents via
Service Desk Tool
until closure.
Submit
weekly, monthly, and yearly SLA performance & statistical reports
.
Ensure compliance with
ITIL processes
for service desk operations.
Participate in
regular review meetings
with client stakeholders to improve service delivery.
Support
IT facility & asset management
(inventory tracking and maintenance).
Monitor service levels to ensure
no SLA breaches
.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in
Information Technology / Computer Science
or related field.
1-2 years' experience
in IT support / helpdesk roles (fresh graduates with internship experience may also apply).
Strong knowledge in
Windows OS, desktop applications, basic networking & hardware troubleshooting
.
Familiarity with
ITIL framework
is an advantage.
Good communication skills with ability to support users at all levels.
Ability to manage multiple incidents, requests, and escalations efficiently.
