Job Description

You will be based at our Technology Center, Shah Alam, the heart and pulse of our IT activities, Centers of Excellence and Development.

Duties:

• Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves server infrastructure alerts.
• Follows knowledge articles to provide support for these systems.
• Works successfully with cross-function teams of IT professionals to troubleshoot these systems.
• Supervises the resolution of all issues.
• Works with tier 3 teams and other service providers to build, bring up and resolve support issues.
• Coordinates remotely with local site contacts to troubleshoot and resolve circuit issues.
• Accelerate critical issues appropriately to support teams.
• Completes project related tasks as designated by the team\'s Shift Supervisor.

• A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or studying in one of those fields.
• Basic knowledge of telecommunication systems, such as infrastructure architecture, VMware, Veeam, and/or new technologies for monitoring system infrastructure
• Strong written communication skills, including the ability to detail operations procedures.
• Proven verbal communications skills, including professional customer service skills and optimally deal with hardware and software vendors when troubleshooting problems.

• Experience or expertise in at least one of the following: Cisco VoIP and Avaya telephony, Citrix Netscaler Load-Balancers, Cisco IOS and NxOS, Meraki networking, Palo Alto NGFW.
• DNS architecture, IP subnets, and Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP).
