Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

The IT Integration Architect (IA) will provide comprehensive guidance on the development and integration of solution components at YTL(UK), ensuring compatibility with approved architectures, strategies, policies, standards, and patterns. The role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop integration architectures that meet business and IT needs, covering elements such as integration design and production integration design.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Extensive experience in solution design and delivery of an API led integration strategy. Experience working closely with technical and nontechnical API consumers to deliver user-friendly and intuitive APIs that serve as the authoritative source for its respective data. Experience working with developers and other IT stakeholders to establish standards for efficient delivery of new integrations, promoting reusability. Experience in architectural domains with responsibility for system or sub-system integration. In-depth knowledge of Azure integration technologies, including but not limited to: Azure Logic Apps: Designing and implementing workflows for integrating applications, data, and services. Azure API Management: Creating, publishing, and managing APIs to enable secure and scalable integrations. Azure Service Bus: Implementing messaging solutions for reliable and asynchronous communication between services. Azure Functions: Developing serverless applications to handle integration tasks and event-driven processes. Azure Data Factory: Orchestrating and automating data movement and transformation across various data sources. Azure Event Grid: Building event-based architectures for real-time integration and notifications. Azure DevOps: Utilising CI/CD pipelines for deploying and managing integration solutions. Knowledge of other relevant technologies, including Microsoft Dynamics, Azure SQL Server, Office365, SharePoint, and infrastructure technologies. Experience in systems design and development methodologies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. 5 years' experience in architectural or domain lead roles. Knowledge of architecture best practices and familiarity with software development lifecycles, service management processes, and information security best practices.
