Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we\xe2\x80\x99re looking to add an IT Intern located in Prai, Penang. Responsible for solving complex problems and generate new ideas for a global organization, while utilizing creativity and innovation to develop entrepreneurial skills.

What a typical day looks like:

• Manages the network system of an organization.
• The individual installs, operates, maintains, upgrades, and fixes computers and network equipment.
• Assist to define, design, implement and support infrastructure & application solutions.
• Assist in procedures for the day-to-day maintenance of the applications and underlying systems.
• Assist with the implementations and technologies.
• Ensure proper backup and retention polices are in place to ensure minimum data loss to the business in case of failures.
• Follow-up with proper root cause analysis, corrective & preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance of the systems regarding security and compliance requirements.
• Assist with system enhancements (software and hardware updates).
• Review objectives to determine success of operation, involved developing, modifying and execution.
• Assist with budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.

The experience we\xe2\x80\x99re looking to add to our team:

• Currently enrolled and pursuing degree in IT or related field from an accredited university.
• Available for 10-12 weeks of internship.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate with others.
• Self-motivated, high energy and strong time management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and team orientation.
