Job Description

Responsibilities:

Learn how to identify and collect basic cyber threat information from publicly available sources, like reputable security blogs, news sites and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) feeds. Help organize and track threat data within our internal systems. Explore common cyber threats, attack techniques, and simple patterns used by attackers, guided by our senior analysts. Understand what Indicators of Compromises (IOCs) are and how they help us spot threats. Contribute to summarizing key findings from threat research activities. Gain practical exposure to industry-standard cybersecurity tools like Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems and Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIPs). Acknowledge incoming tickets within the Service Level Agreement (SLA). Update incoming tickets in ticket tracker. Assisting in compiling and cleaning up IT/security inventory data. Records Minutes of Meeting (MoM) for security related discussions. Support in drafting Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), request templates and process documents. Helps design cybersecurity awareness posters and communications materials

Requirements:

Background in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with consistency Internship positions for a duration of 4 - 6 months Willing to work in Damansara Intan, Petaling Jaya
