Job Description

My client is looking for an IT Manager who is responsible and technically sound to join their team located in the heart of KL.

• Manage information technology and computer systems
• Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and digital data operations
• Assess user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions I time
• Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
• Act in alignment with audit systems and assess their outcomes
• Preserve assets, information security and control structures
• Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
• Instigating and managing major IT projects in accordance according to business needs and budget restrictions, including system updates and migrations
• Assessing opportunities for improvement via inspirational leadership and innovations in IT products and processes

• Graduate of any Bachelor\'s degree, preferably in the STEM field
• Exposure in full-cycle implementation of corporate ERP,CRM, or POS systems
• Industry experience within hospitality, retail, tourism, etc will be an advantage
• Has mastery and proficiency to any PM standards/methodologies
• Hand-on usage and application of any project management tools
• Have led Project Management capability building programs in the past such as training accidental project managers with PM methodologies and tools or have conducted information sessions and refreshers in project management
