Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the company's overall IT strategy aligned with business goals. Plan and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of technology resources. Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions to improve business efficiency. Oversee the maintenance, upgrading, and performance of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software. Ensure reliable operation of internal systems (email, communication tools, ERP, HR systems, etc.). Manage backup systems, data storage, and recovery solutions. Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies to protect the company's data and IT assets. Monitor and respond to security threats, breaches, and vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards. Manage the IT support team to ensure timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues. Develop IT support procedures and service-level standards. Provide technical support for company-wide systems, tools, and devices. Lead and coordinate IT projects such as system upgrades, software implementation, and network enhancements. Work with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to deliver solutions on time and within budget. Conduct system testing, change management, and user acceptance processes. Develop and maintain IT policies, SOPs, and documentation for system usage and security. Maintain accurate records of IT assets, software licenses, and maintenance agreements. Supervise and mentor IT staff, providing training and performance reviews. Allocate tasks, manage schedules, and ensure the team meets operational objectives. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Develop, implement, and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Ensure minimal downtime and fast recovery during system failures or emergencies. Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and contractors. Oversee procurement of hardware, software, and IT services. Ensure proper lifecycle management of all IT assets.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum

5-8 years of working experience

in IT operations, system administration, or network management. At least

2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role

leading an IT team. Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, hardware/software systems, and IT support operations. Experience in managing IT-related projects, implementation of new systems, and vendor management. Strong understanding of network systems (LAN/WAN), routers, firewalls, VPN, and network security. Knowledge of server administration, cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), virtualization, and backup/recovery systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and system issues. Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, endpoint protection, and data protection practices. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical matters to non-technical users. High level of responsibility, integrity, and confidentiality. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. Ability to work outside regular hours during critical system updates or emergencies (when required). Willingness to travel to company branches/sites if needed. Strong commitment to keeping up with new technologies and industry trends.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
