Job Description

Summary

To support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn and grow in the fields of manufacturing IT and automation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, IT, and Engineering, to ensure smooth MES operations and continuous improvement.

Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MES applications and related systems. Provide support to system users in troubleshooting issues. Work with IT and manufacturing teams to ensure integration between MES, ERP, SCADA, warehouse system, AGVs, and production floor machines & equipment. Support MES system configuration, user access management, and process improvements. Participate in testing and validation of new MES features and in-house developed programs before deployment. Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for MES support and training. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for system enhancements and troubleshooting. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards. Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate superior.

Qualifications

Education Level: Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Year of Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in MES, manufacturing systems, or industrial automation. Skill(s): Proficiency in both spoken and written English; ability to communicate in Japanese is an advantage. Knowledge(s): (i) Experience or knowledge of XML, SQL databases, Java, or other programming languages is a plus. (ii) Experience or knowledge of MES in the medical industry will be an advantage. Language: Bahasa Melayu and English.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
