Job Description

Position Overview:

The Principal Developer will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain shopfloor systems to meet the business requirements of System in Package (SIP) manufacturing operations. This role requires a holistic understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and integration with SAP, as well as close collaboration with factory automation teams. The position also includes providing operational support for current shopfloor systems, sustaining SAP-MES integration, and developing additional shopfloor applications as business needs evolve.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and implement business MES requirements with a comprehensive view of factory operations. Design, develop, and maintain shopfloor systems using Microsoft .NET technologies, enabling communication between machines, CAMSTAR, SAP, reporting, and other systems. Provide operational support and maintenance for shopfloor systems, including SAP-MES integration and related satellite applications. Analyze and resolve factory operation issues related to shopfloor systems, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive and corrective measures. Convert business requirements into functional and technical designs, including solution architecture. Continuously enhance SAP-MES integration and develop supporting applications as needed. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including factory automation, IT, and business stakeholders.

Required Expertise and Skills:

Strong experience in

Web Services, Windows Services, CAMSTAR API, SAP, .NET Connector 3 (sapnco), and ASP.NET development

. Solid understanding of front-end, test, and back-end automation initiatives. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver robust solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and within a team. Open-minded and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies. Proven ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into functional and technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Prior experience in manufacturing shopfloor systems, MES, or SAP integration is highly desirable.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
