Job Description

Design, setup, and configure complex routing and switching environments (LAN, WAN, WLAN). Plan and implement network security measures Lead or assist in network upgrade projects, including hardware refresh and new technology adoption Ensure network designs adhere to industry best practices and company security policies. Manage, maintain and monitor all installed network systems and infrastructure (24/7 on-call rotation may be required). Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations. Provide support and troubleshooting to resolve network issues promptly. Work closely with local Malaysian service providers (e.g., TM, Maxis, TIME, Celcom) for internet provisioning and issue resolution. Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Maintain and administer network management tools. Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining, and monitoring access. Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans of the network infrastructure. Ensure compliance with local Malaysian regulations and internal audit requirements. Manage and maintain network access control lists (ACLs), and other security policies. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configuration, network diagramming, mapping, processes, and service records. Produce regular reports on network status, performance, and project progress. Maintain an accurate inventory of all network hardware and software assets.

Job Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role. Strong Hands-On Experience with: Network Routing & Switching

(

CCNA-level knowledge is a minimum). Strong understanding of OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, STP, VLANs, VTP. Knowledge of Network security & policies, NAT, and threat prevention. Network Protocols, In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, etc.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
