Key Responsibilities:



Monitoring & Maintenance:

Monitor the performance and health of IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network. Regularly update and patch systems and software to ensure security and compliance. Perform routine system backups and restore operations as necessary.

User Support & Troubleshooting:

Provide technical support for end-users, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and networking. Assist with the configuration of new devices and software for employees. Handle user account management and permissions for various systems.

Incident & Problem Management:

Respond to and resolve IT support tickets in a timely and professional manner. Track recurring issues and escalate unresolved problems to appropriate teams. Ensure that all IT issues are logged, tracked, and resolved according to SLA.

Network & Server Management:

Support network operations, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and firewalls. Manage and support server infrastructure, including file servers, databases, and cloud services.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain documentation of IT systems, procedures, and configurations. Generate regular reports on system health, uptime, and incident resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:



Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Experience:

2-3 years of experience in IT support or IT operations. Familiarity with network protocols, server management, and system administration.

Technical Skills:

Experience with Linux/Windows server administration. Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls). Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python). Experience and Certified preferred with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
