Overview:
A Project Coordinator is a professional who is often involved in the day-to-day operations of their assigned projects. They organize and communicate details related to a specific assignment or task while serving as an interface between team members and managers.
Project Coordinator responsibilities include working closely with our Project Manager to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects. You will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you\xe2\x80\x99ll collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines.
Ultimately, the Project Coordinator\xe2\x80\x99s duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.
Project Coordinator Responsibilities:
Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
Ensuring project deadlines are met.
Determining project changes through the tracking of Change Requests
Providing administrative support as needed.
Undertaking project tasks as required.
Developing project strategies.
Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
Ensure stakeholder views are documented and managed towards the best solution.
Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
Jobholder Requirements: Education/Qualification:
Malaysia citizen
Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Software Development or related field of study.
Experience & Expectations:
Preferably with more than 2 years of experience in the Banking/Financial Services sector. Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Analytical skills are necessary in order to correctly identify risks and solve any problems which may arise throughout the project.
Good time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
