ob Purpose: The project lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing telecom projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the client\'s requirements. As a project lead, you will also lead and manage a team of professionals while ensuring that all deliverables are of high quality. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring that all project objectives are met.
- Lead the project team throughout the project lifecycle to ensure project milestones are achieved on time, and within budget.
- Liaise with clients to ensure project requirements are understood, and expectations are met.
- Identify and manage project risks, taking proactive measures to minimise delays or budget overruns.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, internal and external, to ensure a successful project outcome.
- Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time and at the highest quality.
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, including management and clients.
- Coach, mentor, and manage the project team to ensure delivery of quality work\xe2\x80\x8b\xe2\x80\x8b.
- Analyse project data and metrics to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement\xe2\x80\x8b\xe2\x80\x8b- Ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and easily accessible.
- Identify areas for innovation or process improvement, and work in collaboration with other teams to improve processes and tools.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A master\'s degree is a plus.
- At least 5-7 years of project management experience software development and implementation, with a proven track record of consistently delivering projects on-time, within budget, and meeting the client\'s requirements.
- MUST-HAVE software development and implementation experience in telecommunications services industry.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with experience leading a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- PMP and/or PRINCE2 certifications are a plus, but not required.
- This role typically operates in a professional office environment, with regular visits to the field for project inspections, and interaction with customers. Travel requirements may vary based on projects assigned.
- Required to be on-site at VTC office and/or client office on full-time basis.
