The team for you to join

The Cybersecurity Team at Chr. Hansen is a highly specialized (and paranoid) individual with varied backgrounds, working carefully with the rest of our organization to help identify and address security challenges on a global scale. The impact of our work reaches throughout the entire security lifecycle and across value chains, ultimately keeping our business and end users protected all over the world. This means we deploy cutting-edge security systems, using AI to analyze security risks, and develop defence strategies based on a combination of technology and user behaviour. We will not limit ourselves to a single set of tools to deliver security for the organization, so we take a proactive and creative approach to finding the best solutions for every security problem we face. You will have a strong backbone sitting at our Malaysian HQ in Kuala Lumpur, with emphasis on providing regional support and assisting your local teams as well as spar and assist on a global scale when required. At the same time, a direct pipeline to the core of our security team in Denmark and are expected to join team sessions and briefings to ensure continuous upskilling and awareness.

What would your role look like?

• Provide advisory and technical expertise to help securely design and deploy security and operational technology.
• Provide subject matter expertise and utilize your business acumen to work with our teams to advise, design, build and implement security solutions that adhere to known standards.
• Our team members are expected to work with security requirements, analyze and understand the security posture and formulate the right-sized solutions based on industry-leading practices tailored to the specific sites. As our team member, you will be:

• Provide technical support to the cybersecurity team
• Participate in multi-discipline projects acting as the cybersecurity subject matter expert in scoping, researching, vendor selection; implementation, documentation, configuration and roll-out of strategic infrastructure and operational technologies
• Responsible for producing full-cycle cybersecurity assistance to the relevant team (incident management & mitigations)
• Deliver solutions as a trusted advisor and support teams to enhance their security maturity position
• Advise and take part in knowledge transfer and training sessions to the broader IT team
• Ensure your skills are maintained and that you keep abreast of the ever-evolving cyber threats, both from a formal training perspective and an on-the-job training perspective
• Support the ongoing development of the Chr. Hansen security program and ways of working

Who are we looking for?

• Higher Degree (bachelor or master) in Automation, Electronics or Computer Science (IT)
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in the field of cyber security
• Knowledge of internationally recognized IT security standards, e.g. CIS, CISSP, NIST SP 800-82
• A passion for advisory and cybersecurity topics together with willingness to continuous self-development
• Good understanding of Cloud Security with practical knowledge of security solutions for Azure
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) allowing them to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to author technical and non-technical documents for varying audiences from technical personnel to senior security or operations personnel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Previous experience in security threat and risk assessments
• Nice to have:

• Professional certifications in cybersecurity and compliance (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA) is a plus
• Knowledge and experience working with cloud-based tools such as Azure Sentinel and Defender for IoT is a plus
• Strong consulting background in cybersecurity
• Experience leading working groups and workshops with clients/teams to gather, understand and develop requirements or recommendations
