Global Service & Parts (GSP) is responsible for the worldwide Service & Parts business of the Mercedes-Benz Group.
The newly established entity, Mercedes-Benz Parts Logistics Asia Pacific, will be part of the global Mercedes-Benz Group After-Sales supply chain network, covering the regional distribution hub, regional Asia Pacific functions and the center of competence supply chain steering Asia Pacific. The future Regional Logistics Centre is currently under construction and will start operations in 2023. The future Regional Logistics Centre (RLC) in Senai (Johor Bahru) will be a key facility in the global GSP Parts Logistics Network and will serve as a distribution site for spare parts to 24 countries in the Asia Pacific region. It will take care of the importation, the storage as well as the regional management of spare part and accessories distribution.

Your tasks & responsibilities:
- Accountable for overall IT operation and support performance at the warehouse.
- First IT escalation contact point for local business stakeholders / management team.
- Managing stakeholder communication, escalation and follow up to closure.
- Development and enforcement of IT strategy aligned with central/ regional ITS strategy and Mercedes-Benz Parts Logistics Asia Pacific (MPLAP) business strategy.
- Provide guidance for the implementation of identified & approved strategic initiatives.
- Define & develop concepts to improve efficiencies in delivering IT services by standardization and process improvements.
- Plan, organize & direct IT demand, operations, budget, assets & resources from infrastructure, application & project perspective.
- Incident and request resolution & prevention management including security incident.
- Execute cybersecurity governance and measures effectively.

Job requirements:
- Degree in business management and / or IT management.
- Minimum 7 years of working experience in management level of Information Technology.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in IT systems and projects including complex IT project.
- Good understanding of warehouse business processes and applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills and good team player, especially good sense of intercultural communication in an international work environment.
- Project management skills and experience, ability to undertake independent projects.
- Strong analytical and organizational ability.
