The newly established entity, Mercedes-Benz Parts Logistics Asia Pacific, will be part of the global Mercedes-Benz Group After-Sales supply chain network, covering the regional distribution hub, regional Asia Pacific functions and the center of competence supply chain steering Asia Pacific. The future Regional Logistics Centre is currently under construction and will start operations in 2023. The future Regional Logistics Centre (RLC) in Senai (Johor Bahru) will be a key facility in the global GSP Parts Logistics Network and will serve as a distribution site for spare parts to 24 countries in the Asia Pacific region. It will take care of the importation, the storage as well as the regional management of spare part and accessories distribution.

Your tasks & responsibilities:
- Ensure IT supports and services are provided to the business unit on a timely manner.
- Manage daily warehouse IT application and infrastructure operation and ensure everything is in order including management of local server room facility, network connectivity, warehouse devices, warehouse applications and support function applications to ensure that it is operated based on Mercedes-Benz AG standard guidelines.
- Coordination with service provider to ensure all IT services are delivered based on the Service Level Agreement.
- Provide support on local business\' IT requirements and enquiries from global and regional IT.
- Ensures that Mercedes-Benz AG policies, security and standards are place and reviewed on a timely manner.
- Assisting in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the local IT landscape.
- Provides reporting to the business, regional and global IT department to facilitate decisions making and investments.
- Provide IT supply management support by consolidating IT purchase requisition from business units and management of IT asset inventory and its life cycle.
- Plays an active role in supporting business unit in ad-hoc IT infrastructure and application related projects from time to time, on request basis.
- Provides project management and coordination in projects including cost estimation, investments budgets, resources allocations and coordination with external vendors.
Job requirements:
- Degree in business management and / or IT management.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT (Plan/Build/Run).
- High degree of business and process knowledge in the automotive field.
- Management experience in IT (Business requirements, IT services, Service Level Agreements and etc).
- Experience in negotiating with internal and external suppliers.
- Strong interpersonal skills and good team player, especially good sense of intercultural communication in an international work environment.
- Project management skills and experience, ability to undertake independent projects.
- Strong analytical and organizational ability.
