Responsibilities & Skills

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Admin to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in system administration , Windows , network architecture, data center operations.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible on Day to Day Systems Admin\\ IT Support for Lattice Penang Office and Data Center and remote support for other Lattice remote site in APAC
• Responsible for assisting on projects for other groups, such as Infrastructure, Network or Business Projects
• Provide on-site assistance in performing systems administration tasks such as providing technical support, installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Should have good troubleshooting skills on hardware\\OS\\Networking and application.
• Should be knowledgeable in Active Directory\\Azure AD
• Should be good in Diagnosing and repairing faults.
• knowledgeable in troubleshooting and fixing IT equipment\xe2\x80\x99s such as Servers\\Network Switch\\Storage\\Printer\\Phone\\VC equipment\\Laptop\\Desktop etc.
• It must be knowledgeable on Installing and configuring hardware and software on Laptop\\ Desktop and VM
• Should be knowledgeable in Replacing or repairing the necessary parts on Data Center, Laptop or Desktop
• Should be knowledgeable in networking so it can troubleshoot connection issue
• Comfortable with fundamental networking concepts such as IP, DHCP, DNS and VPN.
• Should be familiar on connecting network cables on end user\xe2\x80\x99s cubicle\\patch panel and Data Center
• Should have knowledge on handling basic IT security like removing virus from end users\xe2\x80\x99 machines and identifying suspicious files and emails etc..
• Knowledge on Basic set up of O365 application and account on end user Laptop or Desktop
• Should have good communicating skills and has good customer service to end users
• Perform the tasks assigned in an orderly and timely manner
• Should be No stranger to employee onboarding and off-boarding processes
• Responsible on Configuring and deployment of Laptop\\Desktop and workstation to end users
• Responsible on Warranty Claims and vendor escalation
• Knowledgeable on network cabling and harnessing and cable grooming
• Most important he\\she has the willingness to learn\\trained and has a friendly and positive attitude

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant fields
• Proven experience in Systems Administration and operations, with at least 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience
• Experience working with Windows\\Office 365 \\ Networking\\ Data Center
• Experience working on Dell and Lenovo laptops and desktop is a Plus
