Job Description


As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide comprehensive support for various IT hardware and software, collaborate with business stakeholders and global teams, and manage regional IT technical problems. This role involves proactive troubleshooting, adhering to IT Service Management practices, and ensuring the effective implementation of technology solutions to meet business needs.

  • Provide support for various IT hardware and software, including personal computers, mobile phones, network printers, server and network hardware, warehouse management equipment, and phone systems.
  • Manage regional tasks such as monitoring system backups, restoring data, administering mobile phone accounts, raising purchase requests, obtaining quotes, receiving orders, and coordinating with local contractors to ensure accurate work requirements and quotes.
  • Assist in global and regional technology hardware refresh and implementation projects.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand IT requirements and proactively provide solutions.
  • Troubleshoot IT issues and provide solutions, working with third-party vendors and regional/global IT teams.
  • Conduct software testing and installation to support application packaging and deployment.
  • Adhere to IT Service Management practices for incident, problem, and change management using ITSM tools to self-assign, follow up on, and resolve tickets.

  • Diploma/Degree in IT or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 - 4 year\'s experience in IT support
  • Experience and familiar with O365 suite of products is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge in Cisco networking technologies including Wi-Fi.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and global IT teams.
  • Knowledge in PC imaging technologies such as SCCM/Intune will be an added advantage.
  • Posses technical certifications, A+, especially in Microsoft will be added advantage.
Our client is a global MNC & leading supplier in the food & beverage industry with strong presence all over the world, they are looking for an IT Support Specialist to support for the regional IT technical problems. The purpose of this position is to effectively collaborate with regional technical team to support all the issues related to IT software, hardware, and peripherals to Global, Regional, and local business to the wider team.Initial 6-month contract that can be extended or converted into permanent depending on performance.
