Department Overview Product Enablement Team focusing on in house & global Software Engineering Support
Motorola Solutions runs a state of the art enterprise software development team that spans across multiple geographical locations globally. As a member of the Product Enablement team, this experienced IT System Specialist would contribute by supporting the software development team as well as being involved in productivity enhancement projects, development as well as day to day operation support.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
Identifying, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving users\xe2\x80\x99 software application issues and system problems.
Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs
Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional areas, mainly focusing on software engineering but may extend beyond Product Enablement team if the need arise
Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring software development system configurations and deploying support for new systems.
Troubleshooting application problems and outages and scheduling updates in order to maximize application performance.
Conferring with software users to solve existing system problems.
Developing automation script, maintenance of existing script as well as bug fix on script
Liaise and walk through with users in new system deployment
Providing ongoing support via (ITSM) IT Service Management tools (such as ServiceNow & Jira).
Collaborate with global team from US, Krakow, Israel, etc

Basic Requirements
Good understanding and experience with software development process
Familiar with various operating system platforms, such as Windows, MAC, Linux( Ubuntu, Redhat, etc)
Knowledge of application such as Jira, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Confluence, ClearCase, etc
Basic knowledge on cloud computing such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), etc is an added advantage
Knowledge of scripting languages, such as CMD, Powershell and Python.
Ability to follow system standards, create and maintain comprehensive documentation and application diagrams.
Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot application system infrastructure including application logs, system logs, etc
Ability to learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.
A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills, dependable and flexible when necessary.
Required Skills and Experience :
Minimum 3 years of experience as a IT Engineer
Candidates must have at least a Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field.
Hands-on experience with the software engineering development process.
Atlasian tools experience ( Jira, Confluence, etc)
Experience in using JFrog Artifactory, Bitbucket, Jenkins
