About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Technical Hardware Support professional to join our team at WILHIE SDN BHD. In this full-time role based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and maintenance for our hardware infrastructure, ensuring our systems run smoothly and efficiently.

What you'll be doing

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues, including desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on hardware components to optimise performance Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement hardware policies and procedures Provide training and guidance to users on hardware usage and best practices Maintain detailed records of hardware inventory, maintenance activities, and incident resolutions Stay up-to-date with the latest hardware technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar IT technical hardware support role Strong knowledge of computer hardware components, troubleshooting, and repair procedures Proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware-related issues in a timely and efficient manner Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to effectively liaise with users Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve shared goals Familiarity with IT policies, procedures, and best practices in the industry Posses a car (required)
