We are seeking an IT Technical professional to support and maintain IT systems across retail stores, warehouses, and corporate offices. The role ensures smooth operation of POS systems, retail applications, networks, and hardware to support daily business operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide technical support for retail stores, head office, and warehouses
Install, configure, and maintain POS systems, barcode scanners, printers, and cash drawers
Support retail software such as ERP, inventory management, and billing systems
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
Monitor store network connectivity (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi)
Manage user access, system permissions, and security controls
Coordinate with vendors for POS, ISP, and hardware support
Perform system updates, backups, and data security checks
Maintain IT assets, documentation, and store-level IT reports
Provide on-call or weekend support during store operations or rollouts
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Hands-on experience with POS hardware and retail systems
Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routers, switches)
Basic knowledge of database systems and backups
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
Familiarity with CCTV, access control, and retail security systems
Experience
1-3 years in retail IT support (Freshers are encouraged to apply)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
