Install and configure POS hardware, including terminals, receipt printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers, and payment devices.
Set up network connections, peripherals, and other related equipment.
Ensure all equipment is installed according to company guidelines.
Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure hardware reliability and minimize downtime.
Respond to hardware support tickets and troubleshoot issues both on-site and remotely.
Repair or replace malfunctioning hardware components as needed.
Provide prompt solutions to hardware failures, connectivity issues, and system errors.
Collaborate with software support teams to resolve issues that may span both hardware and software systems.
Normal Weekday Shift (Monday - Friday) / 9am to 6.30pm
Scheduled Weekend Shift (Saturday - Wednesday) / 9am to 6.30pm
After Hours support on a rotating roster
Job Requirements:
Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting POS hardware systems.
Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advance/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
Have experience in hardware support, preferably in the retail or POS industry will be an added advantage.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and POS software.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
