Job Description

-Prepare Scheme of Work and Lesson Plans for the assigned teaching level (Lower Primary or Upper Secondary) according to school curriculum standards.

-Implement Singapore Mathematics pedagogy with a focus on conceptual understanding, mastery learning, and critical thinking.

-Deliver lessons that cater to diverse student learning abilities and foster an inquiry-based, student-centered environment.

-Assess, record, and evaluate students' academic progress; prepare relevant reports for the Academic Head and parents.

-Integrate technology and interactive tools to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.

-Provide individualized support to students, promoting confidence and enjoyment in Mathematics.

-Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary learning experiences and maintain curriculum consistency.

-Stay updated with the latest mathematical teaching methodologies and educational innovations.

-Participate actively in school events, co-curricular programs, and professional development sessions.

-Opportunity to coordinate or head the Mathematics Department as the school expands further.

Requirement

-Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or related field (Professional Degree or Master's Degree preferred).

-Minimum 4-5 years of teaching experience, with strong subject knowledge and proven classroom effectiveness.

-Experience in international schools and familiarity with the Cambridge IGCSE and Singapore Mathematics curriculum are highly desirable.

-Up-to-date knowledge of current educational technology and pedagogical strategies.

-Strong analytical, communication, and classroom management skills.

-Passionate about nurturing mathematical curiosity and problem-solving abilities in students.

-Reflective, innovative, and collaborative educator committed to continuous improvement.
