Job Description

A Secondary Humanities Teacher is needed for this lovely school in Malaysia from July 2023. The school are interested in hearing from candidates with a range of possible Humanities subject experience, such as Geography, Environmental Sciences, Economics, Accounting, Global Perspectives or similar.

They are looking for someone with a relevant degree (language or literature) and a PGCE or equivalent (but will consider other backgrounds with at least 3 years of relevant experience). The role requires teaching across the age and ability range in International Secondary, including IGCSE. Experience, or interest in, teaching A Level would be an advantage.

The school was established in 1996 and has now grown to over 600 students from 20 nationalities. They are located on a new, purpose-built campus which can accommodate up to 1,500 students. The school offer the British Early Years Curriculum, the International Primary Curriculum, Cambridge Lower Secondary, Cambridge IGCSE, and then the older students go on to study A Levels.
