JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handles accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Takes responsibility for pricing and invoicing, ensuring timely delivery of invoices to clients.
- Calculates domestic and international shipment prices daily based on provided quotations.
- Collaborates and communicates with the Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure accurate and complete information and charges for billing.
- Prepares adjustments such as voids and credit memos in compliance with relevant policies and approvals.
- Reviews and processes supplier invoices for accounts payable.
- Records customer collections receipts in SAP.
- Addresses customer inquiries and disputes regarding invoices.
- Supports the Japan Finance Manager during month-end processes, including journal posting, preparation of balance sheet schedules, and analysis as needed.
- Proficiency in written and spoken Japanese and English, as there is a need to work with stakeholders in Japan.
- Candidates with a bachelor\'s degree and 1-2 years of professional experience are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in the shared service or a related industry is desirable.
- Familiarity with SAP is considered a plus.
- Experience in international accounting or knowledge of US GAAP standards is advantageous.
