We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and be proficient in Java, with experience in various technologies and frameworks. This role requires a passion for coding, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment. You will be responsible for developing robust applications, enhancing existing systems, and ensuring high performance across various platforms.
Duties
Design, develop, and maintain Java applications following best practices in software development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end components using JavaScript frameworks such as React or Express.
Conduct code reviews and maintain version control using GitHub or SVN.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and ensure reliability.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Work with databases such as MySQL or SQL Server to manage data effectively.
Engage in application development across various platforms including Linux and Windows environments.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills.
Experience
Proven experience in software development with a focus on Java; familiarity with C#, C++, or Python is a plus.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and web development principles.
Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure is highly desirable.
Knowledge of application security practices including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools for project management.
Understanding of Quantum engineering concepts is an advantage but not mandatory.
