About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

Java API Developer

to join our client's dynamic team in the

banking industry

. This is a

permanent position

offering a great opportunity to work on enterprise-level applications and backend APIs supporting critical financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

Perform detailed requirement analysis and provide technical feedback. Design and develop high-performing, scalable Java-based solutions following best practices. Estimate development effort, perform code reviews, and conduct non-functional testing. Prepare documentation for system design and implementation. Support functional and user acceptance testing (UAT). Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly. Identify risks and propose effective mitigation strategies. Conduct daily scrums and provide guidance to team members.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum

4 years of hands-on experience

in

Java application development

. Strong experience with

Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring MVC/Struts, JavaScript, jQuery

. Proficient in

MS SQL Server

, and familiar with

NoSQL databases

(MongoDB, Redis). Experience with

Maven/Ant, Jenkins, Git/SVN, Jira/QC

. Familiar with

UNIX/Linux shell scripting

. Hands-on experience with

messaging services

(Kafka, RabbitMQ, AMQ). Experience in

WebLogic, WebSphere, or JBOSS

application servers. Understanding of

authentication protocols

(OAuth 2.0, JWT). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have:

Experience in financial or banking systems.
