LHM One Stop Car Service Centre (M) Sdn. Bhd. is a reputable and customer-focused Proton dealership dedicated to providing exceptional automotive services. We are looking for a skilled Job Controller to join our team and contribute to our commitment to excellence.
A. Workshop Operations & Job Flow
Receive, review, and distribute Repair Orders (RO) from Service Advisors.
Assign jobs to technicians according to skill level, workload, and job type (CPG / WTY / FSV / FSC / Internal).
Track pending jobs, parts delay, repeat repairs, and reworks daily.
Update Job Status Board / DMS system (Auto Count or Proton DMS) promptly.
B. Quality & Technical Coordination
Conduct pre-delivery inspection before vehicle handover to SA.
Verify all technical bulletins, campaign jobs, and warranty procedures are followed.
Liaise with Proton HQ Technical Support (UCM / TAC) for difficult cases.
Record all reworks, comebacks, and maintain quality control checklist.
C. Documentation & System Updating
Ensure all ROs, job cards, and parts requisitions are properly filled and signed.
Coordinate with Parts Department for required parts availability.
Support Accounts on daily RO closing and invoice checking.
D. Team & Communication
Work closely with Service Advisors, Foreman, Technicians, Parts Counter, and Cashier.
Communicate clearly to avoid misunderstanding on labour rate, job type, or package use.
Assist Workshop Manager in controlling manpower utilization and daily target.
E. Productivity & CSI
Working Days:
Monday - Saturday (8.30am - 5.00pm)
Requirements:
Possess Automotive / Mechanical qualification with SPM/MLVK/Diploma or equivalent.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Technical background preferred.
Ability to perform service and repair tasks with attention to detail.
Organizational skills to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Willingness to collaborate with the team and take on additional responsibilities.
