Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America are looking for Consultants to be part of the project The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches. The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia. You will be working in a newly set-up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.
Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, monitor, and maintain batch job schedules primarily using BMC Control-M.
  • Develop and automate batch workflows across multiple platforms including Windows, Unix, AS400, and Mainframe.
  • Monitor job executions, troubleshoot and resolve failures to minimize business impact.
  • Collaborate closely with IT teams, application developers, and infrastructure teams for smooth job operations and coordination.
  • Provide Level 2 support for Control-M job failures and incident escalations.
  • Work with Remedy for incident and problem management as per ITIL practices.
  • Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standards related to job scheduling and batch job operations.
  • Support job migrations, Control-M upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
  • Develop and support scripts for job automation (Shell, Python, batch scripts).
  • Participate in 24x7 support rotations for critical batch processes.
  • Ensure compliance with scheduling standards and document change management processes.
SKILLS
Must have
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Control-M job scheduling and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of batch job scheduling, job dependencies, workload orchestration.
  • Familiarity with Remedy ticketing system for incident management.
  • Experience with Windows, Unix/Linux, AS400, and mainframe environments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve scheduling issues efficiently.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
